Since 2017, Longleaf Review has published work that encapsulates all it means to be human, with a particular interest in outsider perspectives. We are committed to championing writing which is by, for, and about people who are often marginalized in literary spaces.
Like many arts organizations that serve historically marginalized communities, we do not have deep cash reserves to draw from. Our editorial staff and workshop facilitators are volunteers. Our biggest source of financial backing is you, our literary community.
Longleaf Review is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit literary organization. By donating, you are helping to:
- Publish at least 42 writers per year
- Pay writers honorariums for their work
- Keep submissions free
- Offset our website costs and general organizational upkeep
