Veteran fiction reader Lilly Schneider is taking on the role of Assistant Fiction Editor. She will be working with Sarah Arantza Amador to curate and edit our fiction content. Her insights have been invaluable to the journal, and we are so excited to welcome her to the editorial staff!
When asked what she’s looking for in a story, she says, “I like a story with a strong voice, a story that takes the reader firmly by the hand. One with beautiful sentences. And I love to lose my heart to a character; I admire writers who aren’t afraid to write stories that invite the reader into that level of trust.”
